The deadline to submit grant applications has been extended by two (2) weeks to Wednesday 28 May 2025 - 2.00pm.

Primary Health Tasmania is offering people currently working in either generalist or specialist settings, residing and working in Tasmania, with an interest in palliative care, the opportunity to undertake a funded qualification.

The course options include either a Certificate in Palliative Care or Specialist Certificate in Palliative Care from Flinders University, South Australia. Flinders University is a leading Australian tertiary institution providing online education and training in palliative care from short to post graduate courses.

Primary Health Tasmania will provide fully funded places for the Certificate in Palliative Care - $1,200+GST and Specialist Certificate in Palliative Care - $3,400+GST. There will be no additional costs payable by successful applicants in relation to being enrolled for the courses at Flinders University (e.g. students union, amenities fees).
