Glamorgan-Spring Bay update!

· The Greater Choice Community Consultative Group for Glamorgan-Spring Bay met for the first time in early April.

· Also in April, Alison Collier, a former palliative care specialist and oncology nurse, with extensive experience in the United Kingdom and Melbourne, was appointed to the role of community coordinator. Alison has been busy establishing networks across the region and is facilitating strong community connections.

· As part of National Palliative Care Week in May, events were held in Swansea, Bicheno and Triabunna. Members of the consultative group attended the Dying To Talk Expo in Launceston.
